Today (May 29th 2010) is time of new release.
News:

• Added support for smileys.
• Added initial support for sounds.
• New functions in Lua scripting support.
• Added DCC RESUME and DCC ACCEPT.
• The location of the local configuration files on *nix has changed.
  This is to be compliant with the Freedesktop standards.
  The local configuration files for dxirc is now located in the ~/.config/dxirc directory.
• Added support sending styled text.

Main changes:

• small issues in tabs, trayicon, mainicon fixed
• new startup option -i [PATH] for location program icons (useful mainly on Windows)
